Christmas 2010

Happy New Year!  We hope you all enjoyed your Christmas and had a relaxing time off:)  We had a great time just hanging around the house and having fun!  I wanted to send this blog out much earlier but Ronnie and the boys have been pretty sick with a bad virus.  Both Toby and Grayson are on antibiotics...however Grayson is also on a nebulizer and a steroid to help his breathing.  Poor little guy - he just got it worse because his airways are so much smaller.  They are feeling better today though:)  Grayson looks so cute smoking his "pipe".

Toby's birthday was yesterday and his party at Zoinks is tomorrow.  I can't believe he's three.  Time flies!

Update on Toby:  Mr. Big 3!  A lean strong 31 pounds.  He is a handful...always active, independent yet dependent, loves cooking, playing his guitar, enjoys schools and all his friends that "live there", is very artistic, drives his new truck like a maniac, full of hugs and kisses, wants a story and a song every night in his ear, favorite food is still yogurt and granola, and enjoys helping mommy.  He is very sweet with Grayson.  Every now and then he gets jealous of our time with Grayson and takes it out on us.  Ronnie and I try to get alone time with Toby away from the house at least one day a week.

Update on Grayson:  Turns 8 months tomorrow, is a nice plump 20 pounds, so stinking lovable, so cute and fun!  He's a great eater.  He began eating fruits and vegetables just a few weeks ago and will eat anything.  Sleeps pretty well but has no problem going to bed late and getting up early. He takes an early am nap, a decent afternoon nap, and a short nap around dinner time.  I'm sure he would sleep more if there weren't so many distractions with coming and going and of course big brother.  He's a huge flirt.  Watch out ... if you make eye contact - you will have get a staring match.

We can't believe how much Grayson and Toby are alike. It's amazing how  not only do they look alike, but ( and I know I've said this before ) there mannerisms are so similar too:)  Going back to work after all the time alone with them was hard.  We are really appreciating them more everyday!  They are truly blessings from God and we thank God for them everyday!
