Last weekend, Toby had his Christmas program at church - "Angel Alert". It was an amazing production:) The little kids came out for the last two songs. Toby chose to be a donkey! He sang and did all the hand movements with his teacher Ms. Jeane. It was something else!
Last week was his Christmas program at school. He practiced at home with his guitar for weeks. Toby had a great time! He participated in all the songs, hand gestures, and dancing! We were relieved. Ronnie was sure he was just going to sit there, scared and shy. Check out Daisy - the white (not blond) headed girl. She was a superstar too!
You've got to watch these videos - and turn up your volume!
Here we are at Elf Night at the Dorothy B. Oven park. Toby told Santa he wanted candy and a new guitar! I am pretty excited about this...because I have already checked that off my list! This is too easy! I must admit I am not looking forward to the Christmas extensive lists for Santa that include expensive gifts!
I can't believe Toby's awareness of Christmas this year! It's a huge difference between this year and last year! Toby talks all about what he's thankful for in our prayers with him! He understands it's Jesus' Birthday and he knew what was going on when we went to the Living Nativity at the Church. Toby sings, "There's no more room, there's no more room" while pointing his finger, and says "Jesus was born in a stable".
It's so cute! He gets Santa too! He is so excited about this time of year. He watches our big 8 foot snowman come to life every night when we plug him in with the lights. He tells us all the presents under the tree are "Surprises" and they are "gifts he bought for us".
Santa (Mama and Papa) came a week early and brought Toby this Pony! He named it Snuggles just like the real Pony he rode a few months ago:)
Grayson is enjoying the madness too:) We have nicknamed him Grayson the Grabbing Goblin because he will grab anything and everything in his reach. If you take something away from him - Watch Out - he will give you his frustrated attitude! At his 7 month check up, he was 18 1/2 lbs and 27 inches.
Merry Christmas! We love you all!
