Holiday Cheer

Mr. Grayson is getting so big!  This picture was taken of him this morning!  He looks so much like Toby it's scary.  I like to say that I had twins except they are 2 years apart!
Bundle up so you don't freeze!
This year we picked out the perfect 7 foot tree at the Boy Scouts Tree Farm at Killearn United Methodist.  Toby was more interested in unwrapping all the ornaments than hanging them.  The anticipation of opening each one excited him.  He couldn't wait to remove the last piece of tissue paper and scream, "Daddy & Mommy- LOOK!"  :)  as if we'd never seen them before!  It was awesome! Grayson enjoyed licking Toby's snow globe. We listened to Mickey Mouse carols and had Starbucks hot chocolate, or as curious george would say, hot cocoa.

Mommy always puts the bow on the top at the end!

Daddy and Baby Grayson

Toby is so excited about Christmas!

Just a normal every other day in Tallahassee.  Yesterday was shorts and a T-shirt.
Here's us in the Festival of Lights Parade!  Our friends, the Rowe's, invited us to party and support their company  - Rowe Roofing - by riding and walking with them for the parade.  We had sooo much fun!  The kids were so excited:)  Yes - even Grayson!  Toby either sat on the float with his girlfriend Logan (who goes to Advent too) or rode in our decorated wagon.  Toby threw mints to all the kids on the sidewalks.  Mommy walked with Grayson and threw bead necklaces until they were gone.  I never want to sit on the sidewalk again - we truly had a great time!

Grayson was such a trooper!  We walked the whole parade together!
WHAT ARE THE KIDS UP TO?
Toby is amazingly too smart for his own good.  He remembers too much!  He's so mature and yet so immature.  He's the big kid one minute and then acting like a baby the next.  Oh how confusing it is to be a toddler.  He loves to be in charge and he really thinks he's the boss.  He's a determined little sucker....won't let anything go.  He loves his little brother and is a huge helper.  Toby's teacher says he really is artistic and very loving.  She says he "takes care" of all the "babies" (which are the toddlers in the class he was in last year) on the playground.  He always gravitates towards the little ones at school....always wanting to lend a helping hand.  He fed Grayson some banana puffs tonight and they both loved it!

Grayson is also another determined little King.  He is fun, funny, and continues to show us what a great personality he has.  He's extremely lovable too.  He grabs my cheeks and brings his face to mine to give me open mouth kisses.  Um...Yum!  He gets frustrated when we have to take something from him he shouldn't have.  He's resilient to our ever changing schedule and easily distracted by Toby.  He will find Toby across the room and he constantly laughs at him.  Toby will be watching TV or eating dinner and not making a sound...Grayson will look at him and just bust out laughing!  He is very coordinated.  He's been switching toys hand to hand and turning them around.  Ronnie says he gets excited when he sees him get the morning bottle ready.  Toby tells him, "Gaaayson - you're so smart", and he's right!

What wonderful boys we have!
Love, the Kings
