Back to Work

Yesterday was my first day back at work. It's hard to leave two! I think it's a little easier this time because I've done it before but what's so depressing is how fast Grayson is growing. He's already trying to sit up and cutting out naps because he's so interested in everything going on.

I will be working 25 hours a week...mainly in the mornings while Toby is in school and Daddy's home with Grayson. Then...mommy will be home with both of them in the afternoons while Ronnie is in class. It's a constant switch-up. Who's got who and when...and who's picking who up where? It's quite confusing...but hey - that's what calendars are for.
We are just so thankful that we can have this kind of hectic schedule to keep Grayson out of daycare - just like we did with Toby. For now Ronnie, bless his heart, is home 5 hours a day with both of them! Yikes!
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is so great with the boys. Most dad's can't do what Ronnie does...and are too nervous to try. Ronnie understands them and they love daddy like crazy!
In less than two weeks, Toby and daddy will be back in school and our summer will be over. It's been fun but I personally am looking for a routine again!

Ronnie's dad (Papaw Ronnie) and Stepmother (Nana Deniese) came to visit last weekend. They live in Kentucky and we haven't seen them in a year and a half. We had a great time with them! Toby took to both of them fast! It was sad to see them go. We love you Papaw and Nana!

While they were here...we celebrated Grayson's 3 month birthday with a pancake cake for breakfast.

Toby loves birthdays! In fact, there's a birthday in our house everyday, which is why we do silly things like 3 month birthday parties. Toby sings Happy Birthday to the ________! Fill it in and he'll sing it! Here he is with his Birthday Song debut on the guitar!

Have a wonderful week!
Love, The Kings

That's awesome and love how he throws his guitar down at the end! Thanks for sharing!
