Summer Fun 2013 and Firsts

First day of Destin Summer Camp
Grayson on the way to Destin Summer Camp

Annual Destin Summer Camp was a huge hit again!  Mama and Papa went overboard with activities, toys and places to go.  The week's theme was Pirates and each child got a big bag of toys and pirate ships!  Day three we toured the harbour on this Buccaneer Pirate Ship. It was so much fun!

Toby attended many different camps and had a blast.  He became familiar with his new Elementary School - Desoto Trail - by attending several camps there throughout the summer.  They went swimming at trousdale, movies at AMC, river trip, Jacksonville trip to museum, zip lining, skating, and more.  It sure did make working all summer hard for me.  I don't remember camps like that. Jeez!  He made a lot of new friends and was so excited to go every day:)

Toby also attended 3 weeks of Stubbs Music/Sharon Davis School of Dance where he had a part in a weekly play and choreography.  AND...he also attended my best friend's -Ni'Cole's - movement camp.

Grayson attended Advent most of the summer and loved hanging out with his buddies.  He matured a lot this summer and became even more independent.  His favorites were water play and the race car riding toy and of course getting M&M's for going pee pee in the potty.

Toby's first eye exam.  He doesn't need glasses (yet) but wanted them.

Grayson and Toby also ran some summer track.  They both ran as hard as they could and finished all the races.  Grayson placed second in the 40.  He's quick!

Toby lost his two front bottom teeth earlier this summer and his front top two are loose.  Toby took swimming lessons this summer too.  He is a great swimmer now.  Grayson has no fear with water.  He loves the big water slides and jumping off the side of the pool.

We took countless trips and did so many awesome things I can't even remember.  Now that things are more consistent, with school every day, we are getting into a groove.  The boys are more loving and caring than ever and they make everything better:)
