We had a blast this summer. The boys enjoyed the first ever Advent summer school. The school was all day every day especially designed for us working parents. Toby and Grayson, each in their own small class, went from classroom to classroom studying and learning different lessons throughout the day. The classes were small but lasting friendships were made. Mommy and Daddy got art books that shows off the weekly lessons and the kids' creativity.
We enjoyed Mama's new boat for Memorial Day weekend. Toby participated in three camps - Vacation Bible School, Ni'Cole's Movement/Dance class, and Mama and Papa Destin summer camp. Toby also did the City of Tallahassee Swim camp. By the second (and last) week, he was swimming with very little help and he was more confident about going underwater. Toby took on a whole new meaning of fearless this summer. He did a number of fascinating dare devil activities this summer that really gave him a lot of confidence. All these accomplishments were voluntary and by himself. Toby did the paddle board in Destin. He went down the giant yellow twist slide at the Trousdale pool several times in a row. He did the tree rope into the water at the Wacissa River twice. He did the zip line at the Tallahassee Museum twice. He is getting big. So confident. He's so proud of himself as he should be. He is still the most loving, sweet, independent, and awesome boy ever!
Grayson is still too young to participate in any summer camps. That didn't stop him from participating, and sometimes sitting on the sidelines. He was Toby's big fan as he watched him do all the activities I listed above. He continuously gave him high fives and often said, "Go Toby!" Grayson loves to wake me up singing, "We will. We will...Rock you!" It's too funny. In addition, every morning, he plays the dog electric guitar Mama got him from Christmas. Nothing like the sound of dogs barking to a tune at 7am in the morning. Thanks Mama! Grayson is mommy's little helper. Always helpful with chores and clean-up. He really enjoys story time, playground fun, bath time, dancing, and anything that Toby does.
The boys bring me joy everyday and I am very blessed to have such wonderful children!

Grammy (the kids knew her as Gigi) passed away from congenital heart failure two weeks ago. I was there holding her foot along with family when the good Lord took her. She was an amazing woman who will be missed very much. I have countless memories of the fun times we had together. From summer camp at her house when I was 10 year's old to visiting with the boys just a few months ago, she was a very important, caring, and supportive person in my life. She is now resting with her daughter (my Aunt) Kandi in heaven. God bless her.
