Toby's 5th Batman Birthday

Toby turned 5 years old on Sunday, January 6th.  We celebrated his Birthday with friends and family on Saturday the 5th.  Toby told me at least 6 months ago he wanted a Batman birthday party and his decision never changed.  So....that's what he got!

The party began in a private room at the Tallahassee Antique Car Museum (which is home to one of the original bat mobiles used in the movie) right outside the Batman exhibit.  Mama made amazing bat capes for all the boys and girls.  There were also bat masks to wear and batman toys to play with.

We enjoyed bat juice, bat shaped cheese and ham, bat snacks, and batman cupcakes.  Then we surprised the birthday boy and guests by taking everyone out to the batman exhibit where we were allowed to sit in each car.

Everyone was so happy and excited.  It was really cool!

We even got a visit from Batman himself on Sunday for Toby's Birthday party at home:)

I can't believe Toby is 5.  He is so mature, so smart, and so loving and fun!  He is very artistic and creative.  All of his teachers at school tell Ron and I that he has some extraordinary art talent.  The funny part...it didn't come from either one of us:)

Toby can write most of the alphabet with no problem, knows some Spanish, memorizes almost everything you say, can do simple math, and takes on a great deal of responsibility.

He still loves dolphins, watching Wild Krats, cuddling, singing songs about Jesus, creative play about dragons, collecting little things such as rocks and shells, and being in charge. He is awesome!
Happy birthday big guy!

Love,
Kaley and the King Boys
